Our Communities

The Municipality of Tantramar was formed in 2023 by merging several smaller communities, each with its own rich history, traditions, and unique identity. This amalgamation brought together diverse cultures and perspectives, strengthening our region and creating a vibrant, unified community where everyone belongs.

Mount Allison’s reputation as the top undergraduate university in Canada swells Tantramar’s population by 2,500 people each year as students from around the world come to study in our community.
